Day 01: Arrival & Coastal Frontier
The tour begins with a morning pickup at CMB and an immediate transfer up the West Coast to the remote Kalpitiya Peninsula, allowing an afternoon for immediate coastal relaxation.
Morning Transfer (09:00 AM): Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) and immediate transfer to the Kalpitiya Peninsula region (Approx. 3.5 - 4 hours drive).
Check-in & Lunch (01:00 PM - 02:30 PM): Arrive at the eco-lodge, boutique resort, or unique lagoon-side accommodation, check in, and enjoy lunch.
Afternoon Lagoon Leisure (03:30 PM - 05:30 PM):
Puttalam Lagoon: Take a relaxed boat ride or canoeing session on the vast Puttalam Lagoon, observing the local fishing community and the unique mangrove ecosystem.
Evening: Dinner at the accommodation, often featuring locally sourced seafood. Overnight Stay in Kalpitiya.
Day 02: Marine Wonders & Island Exploration
Day two is dedicated to exploring the incredible marine biodiversity Kalpitiya is famous for, followed by a visit to one of the nearby, smaller islands or sand dunes.
Morning Marine Activity (06:30 AM - 10:30 AM):
Dolphin/Whale Watching: Embark on a boat trip (seasonal: November to April) for an intense sighting of Spinner Dolphins or, occasionally, Sperm Whales. If not in season, this is replaced by an extensive snorkeling trip.
Brunch & Relaxation (11:00 AM - 02:00 PM): Return for a late breakfast/brunch and relax.
Afternoon Exploration (03:00 PM - 05:30 PM):
Island Visit: Visit a nearby island (e.g., Kandakuliya or Baththalangunduwa) to experience true, isolated island life and see the unique, desert-like sand dune landscapes.

Day 03: Local Life & Transfer to Inland Village

Fishing Village Tour: Visit a local fishing village, witnessing the fishermen bringing in their daily catch, mending nets, and participating in the traditional fish drying process.
Check-out & Transfer (11:30 AM - 04:00 PM): Check out and transfer inland to a quieter, inland village accommodation, focusing on rice/coconut farming (e.g., near Wariyapola/Chilaw).

Day 04: Inland Immersion & Cultural Experience
Day four offers a deep cultural dive into the island's agricultural heartland, showcasing the life of the people away from the coastal activities.
Morning Activity (08:00 AM - 12:00 PM):
Farming Experience: Participate in a traditional farming activity, such as assisting with the rice paddy work (seasonal) or visiting a local coconut/king coconut plantation.
Local Cooking Class: Hands on experience preparing a few traditional Sri Lankan village dishes.
Lunch & Afternoon Leisure (12:00 PM - 03:00 PM): Enjoy the freshly prepared lunch and relax.
Late Afternoon Transfer (03:30 PM - 06:00 PM): Begin the transfer closer to the airport vicinity, perhaps towards the Negombo area. This ensures a short transfer time on the final day.

Day 05: Final Taste of Sri Lanka & Departure
The final morning allows for a final, gentle experience before the efficient transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport.

Negombo Fish Market: Optional visit to the bustling Negombo Fish Market (Lellama) to witness the large scale local commerce and seafood diversity.

Departure (02:00 PM): Commence the short return transfer directly to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB).
